On January 6, 2022, IUGB bid farewell to its beloved Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Ahmed LEROURI. Prof. LEGROURI’s exceptional leadership has been crucial in IUGB´s advancement over the past 8 years in numerous areas including but not limited to: preparation for accreditation, academic programs development and implementation, campus life improvement, academic and strategic partnerships etc

A very emotional ceremony was held where students, academic leadership, teaching and non-teaching staff and the President of IUGB, Professeur Saliou TOURE, paid tribute to Prof. LEGROURI and wished him the best of luck for the future.
IUGB will always remember Prof. LEGROURI, not just for all he has accomplished but also for his kindness, his humility and his smile that can light up a room.
