Prof. Saliou TOURE, President of the International University of Grand-Bassam (IUGB), was pleased to welcome a delegation from IHS CÔTE D’IVOIRE, led by its Managing Director, Mrs Fatim CISSE, on Monday, July 24, 2023. The purpose of this visit was the signature of a partnership agreement between both institutions.
This agreement is therefore part of a common vision of:
- promoting academic excellence;
- supporting education by training competent students, leaders, ready to meet the challenges of the current and future labor market;
- contributing to economic growth.
Since the start of this collaboration in January 2022, 10 IUGB students have been sponsored by IHS CÔTE D’IVOIRE. This sponsorship consists of covering the sponsored students’ the tuition fees, throughout their academic cursus at the IUGB, until their graduation. This allows promising talents to access quality training without financial worries.
Among the 10 students, 9 are children of IHS CÔTE D’IVOIRE staff members and the 10th is Miss Mathematics 2022.
IUGB and IHS Côte d’Ivoire are really enthusiastic about this collaboration which they expect to be very fruitful.
