The International University of Grand-Bassam is seeking a dynamic person to fill the position of Communication and Field Liaison Assistant in the Communication Unit in Liaison with the Center for Continuing Education Unit.

The International University of Grand-Bassam (IUGB) is a private, publicly assisted institution, which offers an American curriculum in English. It opened in 2005, and, by the signing of Decree 2007-499 on May 16, 2007, was formally accredited as a University within the Côte d’Ivoire higher education system. BASIC FUNCTIONS OF POSITION
The Communication and Field Liaison Assistant is responsible for gathering, reporting, and highlighting university activities through articles, photos, and reports for the institution’s digital and communication platforms.
The incumbent also contributes to the promotion of the Center for Continuing Education (CCE) and supports the institution’s external visibility efforts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties:
- Monitor and report on university events, initiatives, and success stories.
- Conduct field coverage (photos, interviews, short articles).
- Submit collected materials for publication on digital and institutional media.
- Identify stories and achievements worth sharing.
- Monitor campus life and relevant higher education news.
- Information Gathering and Reporting
- Communication and Visibility Support
- Assist in updating communication materials and internal postings.
- Support the media coverage of institutional events.
- Contribute to communication and awareness campaigns.
- Promotion of Continuing Education (CCE)
- Promote CCE training programs to individuals, companies, and institutions.
- Distribute promotional materials and provide information on available programs.
- Identify potential partnerships and market opportunities.
- Serve as a liaison between the field and the CCE office.
- Liaison and Representation
- Act as a focal point for communication within assigned areas.
- Deliver documents or information related to communication or CCE activities.
- Maintain good working relationships with internal services and external partners.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school level or equivalent.
- Certificate in journalism, communication, or photography preferred.
- Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and client outreach.
