Alma J. Gottlieb and Professor Merle E. Bowen. He has experience in the research and analysis of international institutions,
development, and international political economy, as well as teaching and consulting. Other interests include: the economic experiences of the BRIC countries, the politics of development and political economy of Sub-Saharan Africa, politics and violence in Africa, and the “new” Franco-African Relations. He has attended several international conferences and presented papers at the African Studies Association (ASA) annual meetings, International Studies Association (ISA) annual meetings, African Politics
Conference Group (APCG) knowledge exchanges, WARA Midwest Regional Conferences, and American Political Science Association (APSA) meetings.
He has also been awarded several fellowships and assistantships throughout his academic career including: In 2006 and 2007, the Ivorian Government Financial
Package (Secours Financier) for doctoral studies. In 2005, the doctoral fellowship from Africana Studies at Florida International University at the Biscayne Bay Campus
directed by Professor Carole-Boyce Davis. In 2003, the doctoral fellowship from the Florida-West Africa Linkage Institute (FLAWI) based in the University of North Florida at Jacksonville (United States), and the dissertation research fellowship from the West African Research Association (WARA) in Dakar (Senegal). In 2001-2004, teaching and
research assistantships from the School of Public and International Affairs (SIPA) in Florida International University at Miami. In 1998-2001, teaching assistantships from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 1994-1999, five-years American scholarship for undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Finally, Dr. Kouadio has been appointed in several professional positions (both academic and administrative) including: In 2022, Country Representative of the Beng Connumity Fund (BCF) based in Cranston (Rhode Island, United States). In 2020, President of Act for Africa-Côte D’Ivoire (AFACI) in Abidjan. In 2019, On-site Consultant to the Ivoirian Prime Minister’s Cabinet (Section in Vallon, Abidjan) on capacity building. From 2015, Advisor to several Ivorian Ministers of Foreign Affairs on political and
institutional affairs in Abidjan-Plateau. In 2010, Vice-President of Education of Act for Africa International Inc. in Bristow (Virginia, United States). In 2008-2013, Director and Assistant Professor of the International Studies Department at Wilson College in Chambersburg (Pennsylvania, United States) led by Academic Dean and Professor Mary Hendrickson.
