STEM
Welcome From The Dean
Welcome to the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) at IUGB. My colleagues and I are delighted and honored to participate in establishing this unique and much-needed educational opportunity in francophone West Africa.
We congratulate you on your decision to pursue an education in a scientific or technological field. Your decision shows that you understand the growing importance of STEM and how it permeates every aspect of our lives from smart phones, to TVs to GPS systems and much more.
With an increasing demand for skilled STEM graduates in the region, the development of efficient pathways between undergraduate students pursuing STEM degrees and industry has become an urgent need. Our STEM programs are practically oriented and designed to help you make the most of your education – in the classroom, in the laboratory, during your capstone project and through internships.
Our faculty body is international and includes highly qualified educators and researchers with international experience, recruited from within Côte d’Ivoire, the US, the EU and from other countries.
The faculty and staff of STEM look forward to welcoming parents, the business community, local stakeholders, partners and, most of all, our students as they embark upon the most exciting and rewarding period of their lives at IUGB. We will do everything we can to make sure that students spend an enjoyable, rewarding and memorable time with us and are ready to lead successful careers!
