A delegation from the University of Moncton (UMoncton
On October 6, 2023, a delegation from the University of Moncton (UMoncton), in Canada, paid a visit to IUGB. The delegation was led by Dr. Denis PRUD’HOMME, Provost and Vice Chancellor of UMoncton. Mr. Eric LAROCQUE from the Partnership Directory and Mr. Mohammed CHEKKOURI from the Student Recruitment Office were also present.
Prof. Dr. DeBrenna LaFa ABGENYIGA, Provost & VPAA and Dr. Frederic BOGUI, Vice-president & Chief Operating Officer of IUGB along with other IUGB members offered the UMoncton delegation a warm welcome on the IUGB campus.
Discussions were launched for a fruitful partnership between both institutions, mainly on student exchanges, faculty exchange and sharing of best practices.
UMoncton is a French-speaking Canadian university in New Brunswick with three campuses at Edmundston, Moncton and Shippagan. With a reputation for excellence UMoncton offers almost 200 programs. UMoncton has already received some students from IUGB at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
IUGB and UMoncton are very enthusiastic about this new cooperation which will be of mutual benefit.
